pod — Play or Die is a free word-ladder duel: you're given a word, you change one letter to make a new word, and the pod answers back — each valid word shows its meaning, so every round quietly grows your vocabulary. Six difficulty levels from 4-letter to 9-letter words, a world score board, offline play as an installable app, and online multiplayer where friends race on the same ladder or team up against the pod. No ads, no sign-up needed to play.

Milo

Milo was a bright, endlessly playful one-year-old — a small ginger heart who sat in every stranger's lap as if he'd known them forever, and never let anyone near him sit idle. A paw on your arm, a hopeful look: come on — let's play. He never wanted to play alone.

We lost Milo on 30 June 2026. He was only a year old.

Milo is the game

The pod character — the opponent who answers your every word — is Milo. His face is the "o" in the wordmark, his purple chat bubbles carry his voice, and his gentle, endless invitation to play is the whole spirit of the game. Every duel is a round played with him.
